The State Board of Education has given a preliminary approval to revised curriculum standards for English and Spanish language arts and reading for kindergarten through eighth grade. The next step is a final approval at the board’s next meeting April 18-21. If approved, the curriculum standards will become effective with school year 2019-2020. The vote on language arts standards for high school has been postponed until the April meeting.
Thank you for diligently voicing your support for the revised curriculum standards!
