The Texas Education Agency is accepting applications to the state review panels that evaluate instructional materials for adoption under Proclamation 2017. Proclamation 2017 calls for instructional materials for all courses in career and technical education and languages other than English, as well as Special Topics in Social Studies, Algebraic Reasoning, and Statistics.
The state review panels are charged with evaluating instructional materials to determine coverage of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and identify factual errors. The panel members play an important role in ensuring that those who rely on instructional materials adopted by the State Board of Education (SBOE) have the benefit of quality instructional materials.
Please consider nominating someone (including self-nominations) who has expertise in the indicated areas. The application is accessible at: http://tea.texas.gov/Curriculum_and_Instructional_Programs/Instructional_Materials/Review_and_Adoption_Process/Proclamations/
